ARGENTINA
With more than 100 years of history, PCR is an Argentine-owned company with operations in Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and Cement. It is the oldest privately owned oil company in Argentina, the leading cement producer in the Patagonian region, and one of the country’s leading renewable energy companies.
In Renewable Energy, PCR operates four wind farms across the provinces of Buenos Aires, San Luis and Santa Cruz, with a total installed capacity of 545 MW. In Cement, the company operates two production plants located in Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut) and Pico Truncado (Santa Cruz), with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons. In Oil & Gas, PCR conducts exploration and production activities in the provinces of La Pampa and Mendoza.
ECUADOR
PCR has been operating in Ecuador since 1999, where it conducts crude oil exploration and production activities. With more than 27 years of experience in the country, the company has established itself as Ecuador’s third-largest private oil producer, with operations in the Oriente Basin of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Today, PCR operates six exploration and production blocks located in the provinces of Orellana and Sucumbíos, with an average production of approximately 11,500 barrels of oil per day (bpd). Through safe, responsible operations and a strong commitment to people, the environment, and local communities, PCR contributes to Ecuador’s sustainable development and growth.
United States
PCR has been present in the United States since 2021, where it operates in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors. In 2024, the company acquired a 15% interest in the Cherokee unconventional project, located in Oklahoma within the Anadarko Basin.
PCR is also expanding its renewable energy business through the construction of three solar parks in the Houston, Texas area, further strengthening its presence in one of the world’s most significant energy markets.
URUGUAY
PCR has maintained a presence in Uruguay since 2013 through an operation that plays a strategic role in the company’s regional management, providing administrative, financial, tax, and corporate support to its international operations.
The operation also manages international investments and provides corporate and governance support to the Group’s various companies. In addition, it plays a key role in crude oil marketing and trading activities, overseeing contract structuring and execution, as well as price monitoring and collections management.
CHILE
In Chile, PCR operates through PCR Trading S.A., a company founded in Punta Arenas in 2003 and specialized in foreign trade, international trading, and the strategic sourcing of materials and supplies for the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
With a strong focus on southern Chile, the company provides integrated procurement, logistics, and import solutions for public and private sector projects. It also markets products from PCR’s Cement Division, including Portland cement, oil well cement, precast and prestressed concrete products, dry mortars, and ceramic tile adhesives.
